Spacious, up-to-date, wood-furnished rooms huddle around a leafy garden in fastidious Mr Walton's lovely old family home, painted a nautical white with blue trim and buried behind a bookstore. Downstairs rooms open onto the garden while those upstairs have a balcony, and there's a sweet communal breakfast room.
