V Retreat

Around 10km northwest of Payyanur and 5km southwest of Ayitti Jetty, this tranquil homestay, sandwiched between a near-empty golden-sand beach and the Valiyaparamba backwaters, has three simple rooms with tea/coffee trays, filtered water and geysers. Yoga, board games, Keralan meals (₹250 to ₹300) and trips to see theyyam rituals can all be arranged.
