Zan-Khar

Kashmir & Ladakh

Staff seem lethargic but manage to turn out relatively appealing Tibetan dishes (try the mixed momo thukpa), a good roasted cheese potato and fat-but-crispy banana pancakes. It's right on the central crossroads.

It's well located in the main market and decorated with bouquets of fake flowers, but it lacks atmosphere. No beer served, but you can bring your own.
