Deewanji Ni Haveli

Part of the movement to regenerate heritage buildings in Ahmedabad, this striking 250-year-old haveli (traditional, ornately decorated residence) has been painstakingly restored. Surrounding a tranquil courtyard, its comfortable rooms – with stuccoed walls, heavy wooden beams and antique furnishings – are very atmospheric. Excellent breakfast included. It's opposite the neighbourhood of Ganga Dhiya ni Pol.
