Panthanivas Barkul

Panthanivas Barkul has a great setting and is one of the best government-run hotels in Odisha, with comfortable rooms overlooking the lake. The AC rooms and cottages are newer and cleaner, but all rooms are good here. The restaurant does decent Indian and Chinese food (mains ₹80 to ₹200), including some seafood. The dingy bar sells bottles of Kingfisher (₹200).
