Haritha Vijaya Vihar

This government hotel is 6km north of the dam, with decent rooms, nice gardens, a good pool (nonguests ₹50) and lovely lake views. It's a little overpriced, but the location is exceptional, the restaurant is quite decent and there's a bar.
