About 5km along Rte 249 beyond the cluster of traffic at Seljalandsfoss falls, a dirt track leads to the historic Stóra-Mörk III farmhouse (mentioned, of course, in Njál's Saga), which offers large, cosy rooms with pictures of nature scenes on the walls. The main house has some rooms with private bathrooms, a large kitchen and a dining room with excellent mountain-to-sea views.
