Stay on a lovely family-run farm in the lush rolling countryside on the northern edge of Árnes. The nine rooms are simple but tidy, and views of the nearby volcanoes can be magnificent. Some 80 horses, two dozen sheep, and a friendly cat called Sigg live on the 350-hectare farm. The buffet breakfast includes local produce.
