Esztergom City Theatre & Cultural House

What was once the synagogue for Esztergom’s Jewish community (the oldest synagogue in Hungary, built in the Moorish Romantic style by Lipót Baumhorn in 1888) now contains the town's theatre and cultural centre. Ask here about organ concerts at the basilica in summer, performances of ancient Hungarian music at the Castle Museum, and plays and other theatrical performances staged here.
