Eger

With a prominent position on Dobó István tér opposite the Minorite church, 'Main Square' adds a bit of colour to Eger's dining scene, and boasts a fine terrace with a tented roof open in summer and glassed-in during the colder months. The food is Hungarian with a contemporary taste.

We loved the grilled smoked-ewe cheese with orange salad (22,900Ft) and pork knuckle braised in dark beer (2250Ft).
