Bacchus

Keszthely

Bacchus’ central position and immaculate rooms – each named after a grape variety – make it a popular choice with travellers. The 26 rooms, some with terraces, are simple but inviting with solid wood furnishings. Equally pleasing is its atmospheric cellar, which includes a lovely restaurant that has wine tastings. Bacchus indeed. The service, however, can be Fawlty Towers–esque on occasion.
