Hotel Blaha Lujza

Lake Balaton & Southern Transdanubia

This small hotel – the summer home of the much-loved 19th-century actress-singer Lujza Blaha from 1893 to 1916 – has an excellent location seconds from the town centre and the lake. However, it has also been resting on its laurels: ill-fitting shower curtains, faulty air-con, intermittent wi-fi and dated furniture are all part of the deal. Overpriced.
