Aquincum Hotel Budapest

Óbuda & Buda Hills

Handy for exploring the old streets of Óbuda, this large spa hotel is big on relaxation facilities. Guests have access to two thermal pools, Finnish and infrared saunas, steam rooms and a hot tub, and the on-site restaurant serves decent Hungarian dishes. Our only quibble is that the rooms are rather dated and could use dragging into the 21st century.
