Jardín Cafe Hostel

Western Honduras

The big private rooms and spacious four-bed dorms here are good value, with modern style and hot water bathrooms. All look over the garden cafe area of the restaurant, which clears out around 10pm. Ángel, the owner, offers birdwatching, hiking and rappelling and local opal mine tours. The only drawback is the location on a busy road at the edge of town.

There are also plans to open a rooftop craft beer pub.
