This fantastic place is definitely a splurge, but it's well worth it: spacious, attractive and clean wooden cabins sleeping up to four people each face the best beach in Trujillo and are surrounded by luscious gardens. Apartments and town houses are closer to town. There's a restaurant here, and a menagerie, including a rescued capuchin and a white-faced monkey.
The friendly Canadian owners will make you feel right at home. They can also arrange horseback riding and rent paddle boards. It's a couple of kilometers west of Trujillo on the coastal road.
