Lush

San Marcos La Laguna

Truly chic Lush seems to sprout organically from the living rock of the hillside, with recycled glass, plastic and other flotsam ingeniously incorporated as construction materials. Each of its seven suites and three rooms is unique, with handcrafted furnishings and beautiful stained-glass windows; most feature private balconies with lake or garden views.

Long-term stay rates are available and accommodations also include kitchens. There are also a few budget rooms available on a drop-in basis only (Q185). From the dock, it's a six-minute walk to the left (west) along the lakeside path.
