Across the bridge from Río Dulce town, this is an old backpacker favorite, set in a rickety, waterside building with basic rooms and dorms. The bar kicks on here at night, with karaoke at times. Visitors are warned to avoid having food in their backpacks as it may be nibbled at night by rats.
If you're coming by lancha (small motorboat) or bus, ask the driver to let you off here to spare yourself the walk across the bridge.
