Despite its appearance, this is no mere shack right on gorgeous Souffleur beach but a La Désirade institution that's been around for almost two decades. Jean-Edouard does everything alone here, so order and then enjoy a leisurely swim before lunch. You won't find better grilled fish, conch stew, octopus curry, lobster or fried chicken on the island.
