Big Coffee may be encroaching on Volos, like everywhere else, but with its comic artwork – check out the unbelievably smutty glass-topped table – this hole-in-the-wall cafe-bar is still proudly flying the flag for independent outlets. Local students especially congregate here for an evening drink, but it's also great for early risers who need a cheap, quick high-powered java fix.
