Dirfys Refuge

Evia


Hikers heading up Mt Dirfys (1743m), Evia’s highest mountain, can stay at this basic refuge (1120m), 9km northeast of Steni (the last 2km is a drivable dirt track). From the refuge, it’s a steep 7km to the summit. Minimum 10 people; advance bookings essential (contact the Halkida Alpine Club).
