Spread across a pine-sprinkled headland at the southwest end of Koukounaries, Skiathos' latest luxury arrival is a glossy, calming revamp of the former 1960s Xenia hotel. The 161 rooms, suites and villas have a minimalist-Mediterranean vibe and a fresh white-and-turquoise look; superiors open straight on to pine-fringed pools. There are four restaurants, a spa, an open-air yoga studio and two pools.
