Islanders think nothing of driving over to Agnontas for beautifully prepared fresh fish and excellent mezedhes (appetisers) at this cheerful and beautifully positioned shaded taverna overlooking the sea. Octopus stifadho (cooked with onions in a tomato purée), crunchy salads and fava (yellow split-pea dip) are among the star offerings, and the setting is dreamy.
