Crammed with handmade jewellery and unusual antiques, such as 20th-century carpets and 19th-century spinning sticks made by grooms for their intended brides, this collection rivals the best Greek folklore museums. Upstairs is a dazzling display of owner Harris Varsakis' paintings, in oil on gold leaf, begun in the 1970s and depicting Greek myths and predatory contemporary politicians.
Downstairs there's an original 1830s kitchen. It's next to Skiathos Town's main church.
