This eastern harbour eatery sits on the bay, beyond Elia Taverna. Faros is a minimalist, contemporary Mediterranean bistro serving huge bowls of salad and excellent versions of traditional Greek dishes, including Samos-style small fish fried with caramelised onions into a pie-like shape.
