Ancient Theatre

Constructed during the 3rd century BC and rebuilt by the Romans, Larissa’s well-preserved ancient theatre remained in use for around six centuries, hosting performances and civic events. Set into the hillside 100m north of Plateia Sapka, it’s now an archaeological site, its stone tiers open to the gaze of passers-by.
