The parasol-shaded tables of the popular Panellinion sprawl across Plateia Dimarhiou alongside the fountain, while the original taverna nearby is filled with antique bric-a-brac. As well as mezedhes including roasted feta and red peppers, they serve fine traditional dishes such as pastitsio (macaroni and meat bake), briam (mixed eggplant and veggies) and chicken fillet.
