Milos

Hania Province

An apartment in a renovated, century-old stone windmill (mylos in Greek) on a pretty spot on the beach is the most captivating of several atmospheric rooms and studios here. Four basic stone cottages sit under the tamarisk trees on the sand, and modern, well-equipped studios are nearby. Book ahead to stay in the mill in high season. There’s also a good taverna.
