Café Tselenti

Kefallonia

Owned by the Tselenti family since 1893, this popular restaurant serves Italian-influenced dishes such as a terrific linguine with prawns, mussels and crayfish, as well as local specialities such as lamb shank, beef stifadho (stew) and grilled swordfish. It has a romantic terrace on the village square as well as quayside tables.

If you just want a quick snack, it also does pitta gyros (meat slivers cooked on a vertical rotisserie; €3).
