Christostomos

A taverna tucked away from the crowds behind the harbour, Christostomos is popular with tourists and locals for its classic Cretan cuisine. Start with stuffed zucchini flowers before moving on to dishes cooked in the wood-fired oven or in the pot, such as lamb ofto with baked potatoes or beef stifado (stew cooked in tomato and onion sauce).
