Founded in 1965, Batsi's longest-standing eatery is a charming time warp, with colourful tables spilling out onto a lane above the harbour. The food is renowned for its authenticity, with specialities such as lamb shank on eggplant, goat kleftiko (slow-cooked in paper), beef sofrito (slow-cooked in a white-wine sauce), Andros chilopita (a type of pasta) and lobster spaghetti.
