Athens designers K-Studio have done a splendid job modernising this 1930s building into a gorgeous 38-room hotel, using natural materials such as marble, wood and metal alongside choice pieces of contemporary art. Splash out on the two-bedroom penthouse suite which includes a private Jacuzzi and swimming pool on a wrap-around roof terrace with stunning Acropolis views.
