Phidias Hotel

Midway along Thisio’s grand pedestrianised promenade, this hotel is in a lovely location with great Acropolis views at the front. It's a little pricey for what it offers, but you can still find great deals online. Note, the cheapest rooms have windows onto an internal air shaft – but they're not as grim as it sounds, and are cool in summer.
