Zum Stiefel features good-value classic German and saarländische dishes, including Gefillde (meat-filled potato dumplings). Next door (the entrance is around the corner), Stiefel-Bräu, Saarbrücken’s oldest microbrewery, also serves meals (from Monday to Saturday) and three beers brewed according to an old Broch family recipe.
