With the blue-and-white square-patterned floor matching the Delft pottery, and a curved ship’s staircase and maritime paintings creating a subtle nautical feel, this historic Dutch coffeehouse – in operation since 1895 – has many fans, young and old. Try not to drool at the glass cases full of cakes, pastries, slices and all sorts of sweets (some come pre-packaged).
