Kleiner Ratskeller

The bulging, uneven walls and weathered half-timbering of this historic inn signal its venerable status, even before you learn that it's been serving food and beer since 1738 (the building itself is much older than that) and that Otto von Bismarck is rumoured to have eaten here during his Göttingen student days. Expect old-fashioned German food, folk nights and bonhomie.
