French-inspired mains on Opern's weekly changing menu, such as salmon tartare with avocado mousse or beef with béarnaise sauce, are the pièces de résistance of this little piece of Paris, topped off by desserts like flambéed crêpe Suzette. The dining room has colourful light fittings made from hats; its outdoor terrace (heated in winter) overlooks the Alte Oper.
