Locations don't come better than the Royal's, a stone's throw from the bars of Alt-Sachsenhausen (weekends can be noisy – ask for a rear-facing room). It's an easy walk to the Museumsufer, riverfront promenade and city centre. The rooms' decor is dated but they're comfortable and spotlessly clean, and service goes above and beyond.
