Lichtblick Kino

Prenzlauer Berg

With space for only 32 cineastes, there’s not a bad seat in the Lichtblick, one of Berlin’s smallest cinemas. It's run by a collective and known for its eclectic programming of fine retrospectives, political documentaries, Berlin-made movies and global avant-garde fare, often screened in the presence of directors or actors.

Die-hard romantics invade at midnight on Saturdays for the screening of cult flick Casablanca.
