Kino Central

Berlin

This teensy, alternative cinema has a stealth location in the back of the graffiti-festooned courtyard of the Haus Schwarzenberg culture centre. It screens international art-house flicks, usually in the original language with German subtitles. In summer, the screenings move into the courtyard.

A special treat is the monthly silent-era flick Berlin – Symphony of a Metropolis accompanied by an electronic soundtrack performed live by the Berlin duo Tronthaim.
