Joaquín Robredo’s tiny but cheerfully painted outpost feeds fans with the kind of homemade food his mum used to make back home in Culiacán. Tacos, burritos and quesadillas bulge with such finger-lickin’ fillings as cochinita pibil (spicy pulled pork) and chicken mole (in chocolate-based sauce), while the salsa packs a respectable punch.
For refreshing liquid accompaniment, try a michelada (beer with spices and lime).
