Hotel Altes Zollhaus

Right by the river, this historic half-timbered former toll house contains snug rooms with floral fabrics, a beautiful slate bar, a vine-draped river-view terrace, and a restaurant serving hearty German and international fare. The Lipmann family, whose record of hosting visitors in Beilstein stretches back to 1795, runs another flowery hotel on the hillside, Hotel Am Klosterberg.
