The last remaining Zwinger eatery (a tavern built in a Zwinger, a narrow space between two defensive walls) in Nuremberg is an atmospheric place to chomp on a mixed bag of sturdy regional specials in the simple wood-panelled dining room or the leafy beer garden. Fürth-brewed Tucher is the ale of choice here.
