Hotel Europa

This spick-and-span but unfussy affair just outside the Altstadt gets kudos for its friendliness, comfy beds and opulent breakfast, served in the winter garden or sunny courtyard. Rooms at the front are noisier but may overlook the cathedral and the red-tiled roofs of the Altstadt. Some are a bit small.
