Desertirebis Bazari

Tbilisi

This sprawling conglomeration near the train station is Tbilisi's main central market and a wander around it will probably reveal every food that Georgians eat. There's a relatively handsome modern building at its centre, but many traders prefer to open lots on the streets outside.

The market is named after deserting soldiers who sold their weapons here in the early 1920s.
