Reservations are usually essential at this sumptuous Georgian restaurant serving extraordinarily good food at the top of a small hill overlooking the city. Choose between a table in the garden, on the terrace under an awning or in the fabulous dining room, which is beautifully lit and glows in red accents from the painted beams on the ceiling.
The menu is exceptional, with a few dishes really standing out. We love the beef cooked in Roquefort and adjika (Georgian spicy sauce), the mini meat khinkali in butter sauce and the wonderfully tender dolma (stuffed vine leaves), but you are unlikely to be disappointed by anything here. The wine list is exceptional, with extensive choice and some excellent vintages.
