Success Bar

Despite the impressive queering of Tbilisi in recent years, this small two-room basement bar is the city's only officially gay establishment, rescued by local photographer Nia Gvatua and given a desperately needed new lease on life after years of neglect. Now it's packed at weekends, with a pre-clubbing crowd who love the kitschy decor, tiny dance floor and safe-space atmosphere.
