Rooms Hotel Tbilisi

Top choice in Tbilisi

Revolutionising Tbilisi's hotel scene when it opened a few years ago and now spawning imitators all over Georgia, Rooms was Tbilisi's first top-end boutique hotel and remains one of the most stylish places to stay in the country. The plush rooms feature lavish wallpapering, leather headboards on the large beds, chandeliers and gorgeous bathrooms stuffed with luxurious toiletries.

On arrival, an entrance lobby lined with bookshelves gives some idea of what to expect and opens into a spacious, cosy lounge, followed by a bar and the top-class restaurant, The Kitchen. One floor down you'll enter an enormous courtyard garden, which serves food and cocktails and buzzes throughout the day with Tbilisi's creative classes. Despite its 135 rooms, the friendliness of the staff is of a kind you'd only expect in somewhere much smaller, and by staying here you'll instantly feel connected to whatever is going on in the city.
