This enormous mould-breaking hostel in a converted Soviet sewing factory has raised the bar for local hostels to an almost embarrassing extent. Escape the crumbling Old Town and instead enjoy the huge spaces, muted tones and spotless bathrooms of Fabrika's 94 rooms (half dorms and half private rooms), as well as its five highly popular top-floor apartments with huge terraces.
The concept is brought to you by the savvy team behind Rooms and Stamba, Tbilisi's two most fabulous hotels, and offers a chance at glamour on a budget. This place blows the competition out of the water. As well as its vast ground-floor lounge bar and restaurant, there's a huge roof terrace that's used for everything from free yoga and cinema screenings to barbecues and block parties, not to mention a backyard playground full of bars, restaurants and concept stores.
