Owner Alexander decamped to Batumi from his native St Petersburg for the climate, and in doing so has gifted this rather charmingly bohemian place to the local populace. Meals are simple and hearty (the chicken pelmeni are wonderful) and the wine pours freely as friends drop by to play impromptu concerts, read poetry or just hang out.
