This new hotel is in a pleasant location on the lagoon, 10 minutes' walk from the port. Rooms are large and comfortable, with fridge and air-con. It's owned by the ebullient mayor of Port-Gentil who has equipped it with jetskis, mountain bikes, hammocks and lilos. There's a big terrace with blinking neon lights, and waterside seating across the road.
There's one room with a sea view that could be yours for CFA50,000 if the mayor is not in town. Meals are served though there's no menu (mains CFA5000).
Disco Lind is at the back of the hotel, with rooms above it. It operates at weekends and the music ends at 3.30am.
